I'll check it out tonight. Youtube is blocked at work *shakes fist*

I've changed your avatar to one I uploaded onto Tinypic http://i16.tinypic.com/4tp9w21.jpg

I like how you start off with a nice sharp image, but when you upload it onto the forum, it goes all grainy.

Just one more reason why this is the world's least favourite chat site

if you type in 'pagatronix' into google, only two results are returned and yours is the top result but why it chooses the beard forum i don't know. May be its because that was the last forum (before today) or the last activity?

Google does ask you if you mean 'megatronix' though  - its a good name and could be part of the pagatronix family.

 other we could have:-

 trigatronix

quagatronix

degatronix

Beards. Weird.

Check this out.

I've had an invite to the 2007 UK SAS® forum. Are you going? *Orders medium rare steak*

There's a "networking breakfast" and a "networking social" (make new contacts in an informal setting.) It sounds brilliant. *orders dynamite^ waistcoat*

great shout on flight of the conchords...also checked out the clips for 'if you're into it' and 'hiphopopotamus v Rhymenoceros'... this show looks pure class... the hiphop clip actually reminded me of a couple of comedic nerds i once knew who used to perform top draw robotics at fraud awaydays...

The series starts on 9.30 on BBC4 this Tuesday (25th)

Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe is straight after at 10, and is also v. good.

Yours sincerely, TV Times.

I haven't seen any of these although I did want to watch it - bad timing for me so couldn't catch it.

Anybody know if there are plans to show it on BBC2?

The DVD of Season One is out or about to come out if anyone wants to get it for Christmas.

The original radio show is being repeated on Radio 2 as of today, has anyone heard it? I know it's available to buy on CD as well. Does anybody know how similar/different it is to the TV series?

I think in the radio show they're trying to "make it" in England (and it's narrated by Rob Brydon) but I wondered if the content - songs and storylines - mirrored the TV show, only set in America instead.

If it's very different then I'll try to listen to the radio show on Listen-Again but if it's very similar then I'll try to get hold of the DVD or wait for repeats.

I've just listened to about 3 minutes of the radio show and based on that enormous sample, I can report that it appears to be the same content but not in the same order. The TV show is better as it's more plot-based than the radio one appears to be. It also appears to be less twee than the radio version, and the clincher for me, it hasn't got Rob Fucking Brydon ruining it.

I also spotted this on the radio 2 comedy page:

Vic Reeves
VIC REEVES' HOUSE ARREST

Saturdays, 1300-1330
Six parts (17 Nov-22 Dec)

Listen again >>

Vic Reeves stars in a new comedy sketch show for Radio 2, which sees him paired up with his old partner, Bob Mortimer, for the first time in six years. Noel Fielding, from The Mighty Boosh, and Nancy Sorrell also star.

Find out more about the show >>

Poor the Vic N Bob. What a surprise that his fucking wife is in it.

Why aren't they on the telly any more?
There you go then Shads, wait for Conchords on doovde, and spend the half an hour listening to Vic's House Arrest instead.
You can always report back with your findings...

Sorry about the swearing. The software normally edits the swearing out of posts.

The software must be fucked.

Thanks for that - as you suggest, I won't bother with the Radio show and will await the DVD - or repeats (I know it's still on but I can't bear to miss the first episodes - have to watch from the beginning).

Yeah, I listened to Vic Reeves radio thing. Not sure yet - will have to listen to the next one.

Incidentally I'd have done all that link business too but my PC seems to require me to input all the HTML if I want to do stuff like that so it's too much aggro.

Shrunken Leather Suits.

And Murray.

That is all I have to say, really.

Also, someone on another forum I frequent described Jemaine as 'Jade Goody Man', which not only made me laugh but is also chillingly accurate.
