Apparently the Conchords are touring in the UK next year to support the new album.
We should have a pagasus night out and go check them out.

That would be quite cool, actually. I'm willing to bet cash money, however, that not every poster will attend. Right, Bournemouth?
==================== My rhythm and rhymes, I'm bending 'em.
They've announced that they're not making any more of the series for HBO, though.

I read that yesterday on teletext. Yeah, that's how I roll - teletext. On analogue TV. For real.
I think it's better that they quit while they're ahead. I like to think that they might still put out albums of new songs every so often. Unless they get too busy with other stuff.
UK & European tour - tickets seem to be available now:

Ragga Twins step out!
Finally watched Gentlemen Broncos the other night. I'd say it's worth a watch, if you enjoyed Napoleon Dynamite. It's an odd film, probably odder than Napoleon. You may argue that it's deliberately, self-consciously odd, and you may be right, but that's no bad thing I guess. And the scenes with Sam Rockwell in are fabulous.
I didn't realise until I read this that Jemaine Clement is in the upcoming Dinner for Schmucks, with Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, so looks like he's sort of "made it" in Hollywood.
That said, I'm not entirely convinced by the trailer for Dinner for Schmucks - could be genius, could be rubbish, could be somewhere in between.
Oh, and he's going to be in Men In Black III.
Yes, I know what you mean about the trailer. It just looks like Carell doing the same old same old. That was interesting about the Conchords. I never knew about Bret being in Lord of The Rings. Don't look at this, as his handsomeness, if that's a word, will just depress you.

Ha ha - neither did I. Thanks for posting that - I only scan read the article cos I'm such a slow reader and I completely missed that.
A friend of mine has just acquired a lodger who is originally from NZ. I was amused to see that amongst their DVDs was the box set of series 1&2 of Flight of the Conchords.
Apparently there's talk that Rhys Darby will replace Steve Carell in the American Office - dunno if it's been confirmed for definite one way or the other.

Cheers. Never knew that. Apparently, Carell is definitely going. And they're looking at Darby or Danny McBride to replace him. Or, given that it's not that funny anymore, they could just stop making it?
